~ Meet Iraq Dusty ~

Dusty currently resides in Iraq with her Army Cpt. who will remain deployed untill April 2004.

Dusty was first taken in by some soldiers as she tried to run after a humvee that was patrolling one of the oil fields near Kirkuk, Iraq. Dusty now awaits a plane ride home to the States, where she will stay at her foster home in Kentucky until her "Soldier Dad" comes home.

Update: 19 November 2003

Dusty arrived in the US on 19 November safe & sound! Many thanks to all her donors and supporters from around the Nation and her veterinarian friends & her soldiers from Abroad, each one of you played a part in getting her home. Cpt's, Thank you for intrusting me to be a part of this rescue mission to help Dusty come to America! "Go Dusty!" Visit with Dusty at her new home!!

Update: 21 January 2004: Dr. Farah Murrani has opened the first ever animal shelter in Iraq!
