Meet Grandpa Mudcat! He is approximately 12 years old. He loves to sleep and eat and his tail vibrates when you pat him! Grandpa is looking for a quiet place, hopefully with a nice window, where he can lounge for the rest of his days. Can you open your heart and home to him?

MANY other cats also await adoption through MRFRS.org

Stanley was found eating at a feral colony feeding station. The feeder noticed that he was injured and un-neutered so she set a trap for him. His tail was broken at the base and was cut and bleeding. It was full of maggots, which was what probably saved his life. He was immediately taken to the vet where his tail was amputated, he was neutered and started on antibiotics. That was about 6 months ago. He has healed very nicely and is a wonderful, friendly, grateful cat who will do well in almost any situation.

Domestic Short Hair, Spayed Female, 8 years old, has been good with other cats but we are not sure how she would do with children or dogs. Muffin is here because her previous owner could no longer afford to care for her.

Domestic Short Hair, Spayed Female, 8 years old, has lived with other cats and children but we are not sure how she would do with dogs. Reno is here because she has a urinary tract infection. She has been treated and just needs to be fed a special diet to keep future infection at bay. Our Adoption Counselors will gladly answer any questions or concerns about her special diet needs. She is litterbox trained and friendly.

MENU, 12 year old, orange & white, short-hair, neutered male. He is not fond of other cats, but likes petting (on his own terms). Indoor/outdoor would be the purr-fect setting for him. He is just looking for someone to care for him, at last.

This luck girl came from a high kill shelter in the South. She is so loving and is always the first one to greet visitors who usually just brush her aside commenting on how "fat " she is. She is a bit on the chubby side and has a pear shaped figure but also needs to be loved just like all the others. Would you consider possibly adopting her?
